As a farewell to Chorus this year, the first semester 6th Grade choir performed four songs in class for a "virtual concert."  This is hosted on this page, and only available at WestChorus.com.  Even though the semester is over, choir members can expect: 

• An invitation to see the Taylor High School Choir when they perform at West on February 15 during school.
• Paperwork (sent via your Focus teacher) for a FREE trip to the Detroit Opera House on March 22
• Cedar Point paperwork for our trip on June 3.

For now, enjoy this concert, and thanks for a great first semester, singers!

Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp is a place that hosts 10-day intensive arts sessions for students grades 5-12 every summer.  Campers live in cabins with young musicians and artists from our state, country, and around the world.  Sessions are led by top teachers who hold daily rehearsals, and results in a final performance for parents on the final day.  It's an intensive arts experience in an exceptionally beautiful location.  There are scholarships available (Mr. Martin can help you record an audition) and 4 sessions with many majors, including Choir, Band, Dance, Harp, Orchestra, Jazz, Piano, and Theater.  For more information and registration or audition information, go to Bluelake.org
